Hi, I'm Sarah

My childhood years were spent in Idaho. My father was a rancher, so I grew up riding horses, herding cattle, and all that goes with it.  When I was 10, we moved to Farmington, Utah so my father could manage a large cattle operation there.  I graduated from Davis High School and am a long term resident of Utah. I moved to Highland for job change, and I am sure glad I did! I love the beauty, people, and way of life here in highland.

I am a mother with seven adult children and a grandmother to seven grandchildren.  They are my greatest joy! I am also a proud American and proud resident of Highland, Utah. I have two sons and a son- in- law who currently serve in the military. I enjoy traveling, gardening, and spending time in the outdoors and with my family.

Putting My Experience to Work

I was a stay-at-home mother for 15 years. When I went back to school, my seven children were between the ages of 2 years–13 years. I majored in Nursing and was a bedside nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, and Cardiac Unit while also consulting for an Assisted Living.  After some time, the Assisted Living asked me to be their Assistant Administrator and Director of Nursing. I then went back to the bedside and worked in labor and delivery helping to bring sweet babies into the world.  I wanted to get off the graveyard shifts and weekend shifts so I could dedicate more time to my family. This lead me to take a job in Care Management.  I worked up the ranks and was a Director of Care Management for a large healthcare system, and I currently work for a tech company overseeing Clinical Operations.
